Ayurveda is the earliest known school of medicine known to the world
It was practiced in India 2500 years ago.  The first recorded account of plastic surgery is found in ancient Indian Sanskrit texts.  Sushruta is regarded as the father of surgery. 
Mathematics
It was an Indian scientist, who introduced zero (0).  Algebra, Trigonometry and Calculus also orignated in India. The value of "pi" was first calculated in India.
The earliest cotton fabrics in the world were spun and woven in India.
Roman emperors called it “woven winds.” The Mogul emperors called the fabrics “morning dew” and “cloth of running water."
